Where the schedule is the contract.
Program discipline, supplier performance and cost visibility on work measured in years and audited throughout.
The sector
We work on programme delivery, supplier performance and cost visibility in an environment where the schedule is a contractual term and the customer audits the answer.
Nothing here is forgiving of optimism. A slip is not an internal matter, a supplier issue is not a procurement matter, and the cost position is examined by people whose job is to examine it. The discipline the sector demands is the discipline we build the engagement around.
Start here
Nothing here is forgiving of optimism.
A slip is not an internal matter, a supplier issue is not a procurement matter, and the cost position is examined by people whose job is to examine it.
That changes how an engagement has to be run. Estimates need to be defensible at the point they are made, not at the point they are questioned, and the discipline the sector demands is the discipline we build the engagement around.
- Programme delivery
In scope - Setup, governance and recovery on multi-year programmes.
- Supplier performance
In scope - Risk and performance across tiers with limited visibility.
- Cost visibility
In scope - Estimating discipline and cost transparency.
- Sustainment
In scope - MRO and aftermarket operating models.
- Classified work
Not us - We do not hold facility clearances or perform classified work.
- ITAR-controlled data
Not us - We do not handle export-controlled technical data.
What is changing
Three shifts we are working against.
Rate increases are exposing the supply base
Demand recovered faster than the tiers below could staff and tool for it. Programme risk has moved downward into suppliers with the least visibility.
Digital thread promises have outrun the data
Model-based engineering only works when the data underneath it is trustworthy across the lifecycle. Most estates are not there yet.
Cost scrutiny is structural
Cost visibility is now a condition of the relationship, not a periodic exercise.

Our thinking
What we pride ourselves on.
True of every Taidou engagement regardless of sector — and the three things we are most often told are unusual.
The person who scopes it runs it.
There is no handoff between the team that wins the work and the team that does it. If you met someone in the first conversation, you will still be dealing with them in the last one. This is the single thing clients tell us they notice first.
We write down what we are not doing.
Every engagement starts with a scope that names the things we have deliberately excluded and why. It makes the first conversation harder and every conversation after it easier.
We stay past the point it is comfortable.
Most firms hand over when the design is agreed and the change has been announced — the moment of maximum fragility. We hand over to named owners after it is running, and we come back to check.
Common questions
Before you call us.
No. We do not perform classified work or handle ITAR-controlled technical data. Engagements are scoped to unclassified work.
We do not provide capture or lobbying support. We work on delivering programmes once they exist.
Under the same confidentiality terms as any engagement, with supplier-identifying information handled on a need-to-know basis inside the team.
